Jennifer's {Lifestyle} Session.

This will be my last post for the year 2010!! Starting January 1, 2011, I am starting my project 365. I might not post EVERY day, but there will be at least 1 pictures for everyday of the week. Last week, I did a photo shoot at the Kent House. It was a great place for a shoot! Here are some of Jennifer's photos! She is a beautiful girl inside and out!

Bonnette Family Farm Party!

Jaden was invited to his classmate of three years' birthday party. A party at the farm!! Great photo opt so of course my camera was handy! We had the greatest time. The setting was beautiful, the children were beautiful! We LOVE the farm!! Great place for anyone thinking about a "new" place to have a birthday party in the central Louisiana area. I Heart Faces Fix It Friday

Here is this week's pictures for Fix it Friday. I just LOVE my I Heart Faces group!!

 I ended up with two edits. I really wanted to do a third, but I knew two was enough. The first one is simple and natural.

Second edit it my favorite. I love everything about it!


Mainly, I adjusted the white balance on both. Adjusted the exposure, added a preset, and tweaked a little. Thats all!! Thanks for checking it out!!

Important Events Lately!!

I wanted to post a couple of pictures from some important events that have occured in December. Jaden's school play is tomorrow, so you know I will have plenty of pictures of that! The first pictures I am going to show you was on December 4, 2010. Jaden (my 8 yr. old) runs in races once a month. The group is called "Rapides Junior Runners." He had been participating in RJR for the last 3 years. I was a little worried this race because it was the first race he was in since his father passed away. However, I was worried for nothing!! He finished in 3rd place out of ALL the 8 yr. old boys! His time was 7 minutes 58 seconds!! Amazing!!

Im so proud of him!! Below is a picture of Jaden and Zachary (my 3 yr. old). They LOVE each other!!

 

Next up is Mitch's nephews Birthday Party at Chuck-e-Cheese. Such a beautiful bunch of kids!

Last but not least is my middle sister's baby shower! I was the host/photographer. Some of the decoration I did myself, so I was supper proud! I was so happy to do this for my sister! I can't believe she is married much less having a baby! I'm so proud of her and she has such a lovely family!! Her new little girl is going to be so CUTE!! Aunt Kristin is going to spoil little Lexi to pieces!!

The yummy cupcakes were by Christi Bates. You can locate her on my Facebook Page. The last picture is of my sister, Megan, and her two best friends from high school. Megan is the one in the middle obviously. The only pregnant one. Hehe.

I Heart Faces Photo Contest {Self Portrait}

This is my entry for the I Heart Faces self portrait Photo Contest! It is in the parking garage of New Orleans, Louisiana. We are headed to the Saints game! Who Dat!!

Friday's shoot with Kayla...

My friend, Jessica Charles and I did a shoot Friday evening with the must stunning model! I had a great time and the pictures came out amazing. Saturday I was the second shooter for Jessica Charles Photography in the Molly Cook and Jeb Britt wedding, which by the way was AH-MAZING!! I had a GREAT time! I am so excited about everything that has yet to come!! Oh and P.S. I am now in love with Jessica's camera. Here is a couple of my favorites from Kayla's shoot.

Busy Busy!! =)

Wow, so everything is going great! My first shoot seems to be a hit! I was surprised by my boyfriend to a trip to New Orleans Saturday and the Saints Game! (which we won, WHO DAT!!) I am still editing Lilly's pictures and then I have some amazing pictures I took in New Orleans for you guys to preview! Tomorrow is cleaning and cooking time! Everyone is coming to MY house for Thanksgiving! Exciting and scary at the same time. Friday is my shoot with my photog friend Jessica that I have been waiting for all week. Also, I have just been asked to do a family photoshoot! I am so excited and can't wait to get the wheeles rolling! I am loving my new job. Here is a favorite or two from Lilly's shoot and I will post my NOLA ones later. Thanks again for all of the support!

My First Shoot!!

Wow!! I just had the most amazing time with my new friend, Princess Lilly Belle! I wanted to show all of my followers a couple of my favorites. I wont be able to edit the rest until Monday. Update...

Hey guys! I just wanted to keep you updated on my busy schedule that I am oh so excited about!! Tomorrow Friday the 19th I am helping serve the faculty an appreciation lunch. Saturday the 20th I have my second practice shoot (the first with my new lens)! And now that I know how to use my camera even better I am SUPER excited about this one!! I am thinking bright colors, bubbles, tutus, bows, and one pretty, prissy girl!! ALL my FAVS!! I also purchased an antique stroller yesterday for my baby pictures!! Then next Friday the 26th I am shooting another practice shoot of the cutest couple with my favorite photographer!! I am soooo stoked about that! I am so blessed right now and I've never been happier. It always helps when your eight year old tells you "Your a great mother!" after helping him do an awesome project board! =) Thanks for following me and being involved with my progress. Also thanks for the support!!
